Jeffrey Holt named COO of Clara Maass Medical Center

Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, N.J., part of RWJBarnabas Health, has named Jeffrey J. Holt COO.  

Mr. Holt most recently was COO of Millard Fillmore Suburban and DeGraff Memorial Hospitals and system vice president of clinical services at Buffalo, N.Y.-based Kaleida Health.

At Kaleida, he implemented utilization management initiatives and created key physician leadership roles, among other accomplishments, according to a news release. 

Mr. Holt also previously was vice president of neuroscience and orthopedic service lines at Neptune, N.J.-based Meridian Health, which has since merged with Hackensack (N.J.) University Health Network. 

His other former roles include senior cardiology administrator at NYU Langone, SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., and cardiology pulmonology internal practice administrator at Brook-Island Medical Associates in Brooklyn.

"Jeff is a seasoned, results-driven executive who is well qualified to lead the operational practices at Clara Maass Medical Center," Mary Ellen Clyne, PhD, president and CEO of Clara Maass Medical Center, said in a news release. "I am confident that he is the right individual to further our success, especially as we continue to expand our services to meet the needs of our community."
