Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Broward Health appointed Jared M. Smith CEO of Broward Health Coral Springs (Fla.).

1. Most recently, Mr. Smith served as national service line administrator for cardiac and vascular services at Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare.
2. He previously served as COO of Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, Fla.
3. He has 23-plus years of healthcare experience and began his career at Deloitte, where he worked with numerous hospitals.
4. He holds a master of science degree in taxation from the University of Miami and is a certified public accountant in Florida.
