James Woodward to become CEO of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic: 4 things to know

Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health selected James L. Woodward to serve as president and CEO of its newly formed five-hospital system called Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Woodward currently serves as president and CEO of St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pa., one of the five hospitals included in Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic.

2. He will continue in his leadership role at St. Mary until a successor is identified.

3. Mr. Woodward joined St. Mary in 2016, after serving as president and CEO of Elliot Health System in Manchester, N.H.

4. In his new role, he will oversee the formation of a regional executive team for Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic.
