1. Dr. Medland most recently served as CNO at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Ill., and Presence St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee, Ill.

2. She has also previously owned and operated a healthcare consulting practice and served as part of the clinical faculty at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Nursing.

3. She is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and American Organization of Nurses Executives.

4. She earned her doctor of philosophy degree in organization development from Benedictine University in Lisle, Ill.
