Intermountain Sevier Valley Hospital in Richfield, Utah, appointed Brent Schmidt administrator, effective June 2.
Three points:
1. Mr. Schmidt previously served as director of ancillary and support services at the hospital.
2. He has served as director of operations at St. Luke's Health system in Boise, Idaho.
3. Mr. Schmidt holds a master's degree in healthcare administration at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
