Mr. Ashdown, who has been with Intermountain for 23 years, will begin his role Oct. 23. He was most recently the senior vice president of financial operations at the 33-hospital system.

“Clay has been a champion and trusted Intermountain leader for decades,” Intermounatin President and CEO Rob Allen said. “With a strong command of the firm ties between finance and operations, he is undoubtedly the leader for the role.”

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
