Here are four things to know about Mr. Brown.
1. He most recently was director of revenue cycle at Deer Oaks Behavioral Health in San Antonio.
2. During his tenure at Deer Oaks Behavioral Health, Mr. Brown created a medical records department, developed an annual staff review process and oversaw the interface between EHR and billing systems, according to IMP.
3. He also previously was director of revenue cycle at Smile Brands, a provider of support services to general and multi-specialty dental groups nationwide.
4. In his new role, Mr. Brown will be responsible for driving strategies for optimizing payments from patients, payers and government health programs for all clients as well as facilitating the appeals process, reporting collections and accounts receivable reconciliation, IMP said.
