Ms. Sheridan’s healthcare career spanned 55 years, her husband, John Sheridan III, PhD, told Becker’s. She spent 24 of those years serving Regional Medical Center in Vineland.

Ms. Sheridan was named one of Becker’s “130 women hospital and health system leaders to know” in 2017, when she served as chief operating officer for the two Inspira Hospitals. She was recognized, among other achievements, for leading the implementation of several programs to benefit patient health, including a home food delivery program for patients with a high risk for readmissions.

She “[put] South Jersey Healthcare ‘on the map,'” Dr. Sheridan said, and rarely missed a day of work until today — March 1.

Inspira Health is based in Vineland.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
