Inova names new leader of Fair Oaks Hospital

Falls Church, Va.-based Inova Health System has appointed Raj Chand, MD, president of Inova Fair Oaks Hospital. His role became effective Nov. 8, according to a news release shared with Becker’s.

Dr. Chand has served as an emergency medicine physician at the Fairfax, Va.-based hospital for 12 years. He took on the additional role of CMO in 2020.

Dr. Chand served as president of Virginia Emergency Medicine Associates in Fairfax for six years. As president, he grew the practice to 60 physicians and 30 advanced practice providers, the news release said.
