Charlene Boyer, DHA, BSN, RN, was appointed CEO of Syringa Hospital & Clinics in Grangeville, Idaho, effective March 1, according to a Jan. 30 hospital Facebook post.
Dr. Boyer brings more than three decades of healthcare leadership experience to the role, the hospital said.
Most recently, she served as national executive director for Horizon Health, part of King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services.
She has also led behavioral health and acute care programs at multiple community hospitals, including Boulder City (Nev.) Hospital, and previously served as CEO and chief nursing officer at Desert Winds Hospital in Las Vegas.
Syringa Hospital & Clinics is a rural acute care facility. Its outreach services include a family practice clinic in Kooskia, Idaho; a walk-in clinic; therapy services; and a primary care clinic on the organization’s Grangeville campus, according to its website.
