Humana names president of Medicare business in South Florida

Humana appointed Betty Assapimonwait its regional president for the insurer’s South Florida Medicare market.

Three things to know.

1. Effective Aug. 1, Ms. Assapimonwait will lead development of Humana’s Medicare business in the region.

2. Since December 2016, she has served as market president of 22-center Family Physicians Group in Central Florida.

3. Ms. Assapimonwait has 35 years of managed healthcare experience and has held several senior-level roles, including leader of Humana’s North Florida Medicare business for five years.
