Hudson Regional Health names executives for 2 New Jersey hospitals

Secaucus, N.J.-based Hudson Regional Health has appointed chief hospital executives for two of its facilities, according to a March 9 health system news release shared with Becker’s.

Michael Hochberg, MD, was promoted to chief hospital executive of Hoboken (N.J.) University Hospital, formerly Hoboken University Medical Center. Vijayant Singh, MD, was named chief hospital executive of Bayonne (N.J.) University Hospital, formerly Bayonne Medical Center.

A board-certified internist, Dr. Singh most recently served as chief clinical officer and vice president of network development at Hudson Regional Hospital, according to the release. Dr. Hochberg most recently served as chief hospital executive of Bayonne University Hospital.

Hudson Regional Health, a four-hospital system, was created in May 2025 as the final step in CarePoint Health’s bankruptcy exit.
