HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital taps new CEO: 4 things to know

HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls, Wis., selected Christopher P. Brabant to serve as president and CEO, effective Aug. 20.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Brabant is HSHS Eastern Wisconsin Division’s executive director of surgical services for the heart, lung and vascular center and Prevea Health Vascular Surgery in Green Bay, Wis..

2. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion.

3. He holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.

4. Mr. Brabant will take over from Paula Hafeman, HSHS Eastern Wisconsin Division’s chief nursing executive, who is currently serving as interim president and CEO of HSHS St. Clare.
