Houston Healthcare selects Charles Briscoe as COO: 4 takeaways

Warner Robins, Ga.-based Houston Healthcare named Charles G. Briscoe COO, according to a The Telegraph report.

Here are four takeaways:

1. Mr. Briscoe most recently served as senior vice president of acute care services with Community Health Services of Georgia in Macon.

2. He has also served as CEO of Coliseum Health System in Macon.

3. In his new role, he will oversee and lead Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins and Perry (Ga.) Hospital, both under the Houston Healthcare umbrella.

4. Mr. Briscoe will assume his new role on Jan. 2, 2017.
