Hospital Sisters Health System names new marketing chief

Charmaine Weis has been named vice president of marketing and communications for Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System.

Ms. Weis joined the 13-hospital system in 2024 as director of marketing and brand experience before becoming interim senior vice president and chief marketing and communications officer.

She previously served as a strategic communication strategist at healthcare consulting firm Jarrard Inc. and director of marketing and communications at the former Broomfield, Colo.-based SCL Health (now part of Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Health).

She replaces Christine Woolsey, who left to become chief communication and marketing officer of Ann Arbor-based Michigan Medicine.
