Michigan Medicine names new C-suite leader

Christine Woolsey has been named chief communication and marketing officer of Ann Arbor-based Michigan Medicine effective Sept. 8.

Ms. Woolsey has most recently served as senior vice president and chief marketing and communications officer at Hospital Sisters Health System, a 13-hospital system based in Springfield, Ill., since 2023.

“I am passionate about improving healthcare for all and driving excellent consumer experience,” she said in a July 28 news release. “The opportunity to join the highly respected team at Michigan Medicine gives me a chance to contribute on a large scale to a brand that is admired around the world.”

Ms. Woolsey was also senior vice president and chief communications and marketing officer of Broomfield, Colo.-based SCL Health (now Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Health) from 2010 to 2018.
