1. Dr. Kuiper has served as interim president and CEO of HSHS St. John’s Hospital since November 2018.
2. He will now serve in a dual role.
3. Dr. Kuiper has served as president and CEO of the HSHS Central Illinois Division since November 2013.
4. Prior to joining Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System, he worked with Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare and served as president and CEO of St. Anthony’s Health System in Alton, Ill.
5. He earned a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers and a clinical doctorate in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine (Fla.).
