Holy Cross Health taps new COO from HCA hospital

Jason Boren has been named chief operating officer of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Holy Cross Health, effective July 6.

With more than 15 years of healthcare and team leadership experience, Mr. Boren most recently served as COO of HCA Florida Westside Hospital in Plantation, according to a June 19 news release shared with Becker’s.

The hospital is part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.

He also served as COO of HCA’s Terrace, Utah-based Ogden Regional Medical Center and Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah.

Holy Cross Health is a member of Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health. The nonprofit, Catholic health system comprises a 557-bed teaching hospital, the Holy Cross HealthPlex outpatient facility, urgent care centers and more than 40 Holy Cross Medical Group physician practices, according to the news release.
