Detroit-based Henry Ford Health System selected Betty S. Chu, MD, to serve as chief quality officer and associate chief clinical officer.

1. Most recently, Dr. Chu was vice president of medical affairs and CMO at Henry Ford West Bloomfield (Mich.) Hospital.

2. An obstetrics and gynecology physician, she has worked at Henry Ford since 2014.

3. Dr. Chu is the president of the Michigan State Medical Society and a Michigan delegate to the American Medical Association.

4. In addition to her medical training, she earned her MBA from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor.
