Helena Regional Medical Center names new CEO: 3 things to know

Helena (Ark.) Regional Medical Center has appointed Leah Osbahr CEO, effective July 1, according to the Helena Daily World.

Here are five things to know about Ms. Osbahr.

1. Ms. Osbahr has more than a decade of hospital CEO experience. Most recently, she was CEO of Washington County Memorial Hospital, a critical access hospital in Potosi, Mo. Ms Osbahr also served as CEO of Lawrence Health Services in Walnut Ridge, Ark.

2. Ms. Osbahr previously worked at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Baptist Medical Center, both in Little Rock, Ark.

3. Ms. Osbahr earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and a master’s degree in health services administration from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock. She earned an additional master’s degree in public health from Tulane University in New Orleans.
