HCA Virginia’s Chippenham Hospital hires new COO: 4 things to know

HCA Virginia’s Chippenham Hospital in Richmond has named Jeremy Gray COO, effective Aug. 16, according to a Richmond Times-Dispatch report.

Here are four things to know about Mr. Gray.

1. He most recently served as COO of Fort Walton Beach (Fla.) Medical Center.

2. As COO of Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, Mr. Gray helped the hospital launch a Level II trauma center and led major renovations in the emergency department, according to the report.

3. Previously, he was CEO of Haywood Park Community Hospital in Brownsville, Tenn.

4. Mr. Gray earned a master’s degree in health administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
