Fred Ashworth has been named CFO of Brentwood, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare TriStar division.
In his new role, Mr. Ashworth will head financial operations and strategy for the division. He will support growth, operational performance and resources needed to ensure quality care across the TriStar Division facilities in Kentucky and Tennessee, according to a June 25 news release shared with Becker’s.
HCA Healthcare TriStar division comprises 17 hospitals, 89 physician offices, 18 urgent care centers, more than 2,500 physicians and more than 4,500 nurses, according to its website.
Prior to his new role, Mr. Ashworth served as CFO of HCA’s far West division. He also served as CFO of Orange Park (Fla.) Medical Center, Thousand Oaks, Calif.-based Los Robles Regional Medical Center, Regional Medical Center San Jose (Calif.) and Chippenham and Johnston-Willis hospitals in Richmond, Va.
