HCA selects chief administrative officer of Tristar Division’s southern region: 4 notes

Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare tapped Mitch Edgeworth to serve as chief administrative officer of the southern region of its Brentwood, Tenn.-based TriStar Division.

Four notes:

1. Mr. Edgeworth previously served as Nashville-based Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s CEO of adult hospitals and clinics.

2. He also has served as a regional vice president at Quorum Health Resources in Brentwood.

3. He has an MBA from Durham, N.C.-based Duke University.

4. As chief administrative officer of the TriStar Division’s southern region, Mr. Edgeworth will lead the Chattanooga and Northwest Georgia markets.
