Sam Younger, PhD, MSN, was named COO of TriStar Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tenn., part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.
Dr. Younger will begin his new role June 1, according to a hospital news release shared with Becker’s.
He most recently served as COO of TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Ky., also part of HCA.
HCA is a for-profit hospital operator with 189 hospitals and about 2,600 ambulatory sites of care in 19 states and the United Kingdom.
