Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kan., has named Lawrence Verfuth, DO, as its new chief medical officer, Wichita Business Journal reported Dec. 17
Dr. Verfuth joined the hospital Dec. 8. He previously served for eight years as CMO of HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe in Texas, according to his LinkedIn profile. Wesley Medical Center is part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.
The Wichita hospital’s former CMO, Lowell Ebersole, DO, joined another HCA hospital — Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo. — in September.
