HCA Florida Palms West Hospital names new chief medical officer

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital in Loxahatchee has appointed Alexander Gumiroff, MD, as its new chief medical officer.

Dr. Gumiroff has previously trained and led teams of physician assistants and nurse practitioners, and has worked closely with hospital executive teams at other facilities. He also has experience caring for underserved populations.

Dr. Gumiroff will oversee strategy and care quality at the 204-bed acute care facility. His appointment to the role takes effect May 15.
