HCA Florida Healthcare, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare, has promoted two hospital leaders in the Tampa Bay region.
Steve Young was named CEO of HCA Florida Brandon Hospital and Brent Burish was named CEO of HCA Florida Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, according to a July 6 HCA news release shared with Becker’s.
Mr. Young returned to Brandon Hospital after serving as CEO of HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton and HCA Florida Englewood Hospital. He previously served as COO of HCA Florida Brandon Hospital, HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital and HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville.
Mr. Burish assumed leadership of Northside Hospital after serving as CEO of HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital in St. Petersburg beginning in 2022 and later HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital. Before joining Pasadena Hospital, he was COO of HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte and previously served as president and CEO of Orlando Health St. Cloud Hospital.
