HCA Florida hospital taps interim chief

Brent Burish was named interim CEO of HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.

Mr. Burish assumed the new role Sept. 24, according to a news release. He will also continue as CEO of HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital in St. Petersburg.

Mr. Burish has served as CEO of Pasadena Hospital since August 2022. Before that, he served as COO of HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte. He also previously served as president and CEO of Orlando Health St. Cloud (Fla.) Hospital.
