James Perez has been appointed vice president of human resources at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, effective Sept. 28.
Mr. Perez joins HCA Florida Memorial Hospital from HCA Florida Putnam Hospital in Palatka, where he served as vice president of human resources for the past three years, according to a Sept. 25 hospital news release shared with Becker’s.
In his new role, Mr. Perez will oversee human resources strategy and operations for HCA Florida Memorial Hospital, including colleague engagement, talent development, recruitment and retention.
HCA Florida Memorial Hospital has 454 inpatient beds and six freestanding emergency rooms.
