West Palm Beach, Fla.-based HCA Florida JFK North Hospital has named Sandhya Henry, BSN, RN, vice president of quality.
Ms. Henry joined the hospital in 2022 as director of patient safety and risk management and succeeds Cary Estes, who joined HCA Florida JFK North Hospital as vice president of quality in 2023.
In her new role, Ms. Henry will oversee quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, accreditation and performance improvement programs, working with physicians, clinical teams and hospital leadership on strategic quality initiatives and regulatory readiness, according to a July 9 hospital news release published in Florida Hospital News and Healthcare Report.
Ms. Henry has more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience. Before joining HCA Florida JFK North Hospital, she held leadership roles at Trinity Health and Henry Ford Health System, leading enterprisewide quality and clinical operations initiatives.
Under her leadership as director of patient safety and risk management, HCA Florida JFK North Hospital earned the Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award for four consecutive years and posted measurable gains in patient safety and quality performance, the release said.
