Rahat Verma was appointed COO of HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital in Port St. Lucie.
Mr. Verma joined St. Lucie on Sept. 29 from Miami-based HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, where he most recently served as vice president of operations, according to a news release from the hospital.
At Kendall Hospital, he oversaw more than $120 million in capital investments, helped bring 13 surgical robots online and spearheaded renovations across key service areas, the release reads.
St. Lucie and Kendall hospitals are both part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.
