Hawaii Health Systems Corp.’s West Hawaii Region CEO to retire: 3 notes

Jay Kreuzer, CEO of Honolulu-based Hawaii Health Systems Corporation’s West Hawaii Region and of Kona Community Hospital in Kealakekua, Hawaii, is retiring, effective at the end of the year, according to a West Hawaii Today report.

Three notes:

1. Mr. Kreuzer came to Hawaii Health Systems Corporation’s West Hawaii Region and Kona Community Hospital in 2011.

2. He has prior experience serving as CEO of West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, Ill.

3. The organization’s board of directors has engaged Quick Leonard Kieffer, an executive search firm, to identify Mr. Kreuzer’s successor.
