Dr. McPherson joined the medical center in 2021 as its chief nursing officer and now will take on additional responsibilities of the chief operating officer role as well.
In this new capacity, Dr. McPherson will be tasked with “bridging the gap between clinical and non-clinical operations,” according to the release.
Her appointment to the dual role is effective immediately.
