Hackensack Meridian appoints nurse to top hospital role

Edison, N.J.-based Hackensack Meridian Health has promoted Caitlin Miller, BSN, RN-BC, to president and chief hospital executive at Bayshore Medical Center, a 204-bed hospital in Holmdel, N.J.

Ms. Miller began working at the hospital as a nurse in 2014 and most recently served as vice president of operations. She led the design and construction of a 32,000 square-foot emergency care center that opened in 2022, the implementation of new outpatient programs, and technology upgrades to improve patient care, according to a March 8 news release.

She will continue to be responsible for inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and community services at the hospital.
