Greg Lowe is the new CEO of HCA Virginia's Chippenham & Johnston-Willis hospitals

Richmond-based Hospital Corporation of America Virginia named Greg Lowe CEO of Chippenham Hospital and Johnston-Willis Hospital, both located in Richmond. He will begin his duties on Nov. 1.

Mr. Lowe most recently served as CEO of HCA's Lawnwood Regional Medical Center & Heart Institute in Fort Pierce, Fla., a role he has held since 2013. He has previously served as market CEO at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville, N.C., and Davis Regional Medical Center in Statesville, N.C.

Mr. Lowe earned his master's degree in healthcare and business administration from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management in Minneapolis. He replaces Tim McManus as CEO of Chippenham and Johnston-Willis hospitals. Mr. McManus was recently named president of the HCA Virginia.
