Granville Health System appoints new CEO: 4 things to know

Oxford, N.C.-based Granville Health System named John F. Snow CEO, effective Aug. 13.

Here are four things to know:

1. Most recently, Mr. Snow served as vice president of ancillary and support services at Iredell Health System in Statesville, N.C.

2. He has previous experience serving as CEO of Blue Ridge Community Health Services in Hendersonville, N.C., and CEO of Spalding Regional Medical Center in Griffin, Ga.

3. He holds an MBA from the University of Dallas Graduate School of Management in Irving as well as a master of management in clinical informatics degree from the Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, N.C.

4. Mr. Snow succeeds L. Lee Isley, PhD, who left in March to take on the top post at Nash UNC Health Care in Rocky Mount, N.C.
