Good Shepherd Medical Center Terminates CEO Contract

Good Shepherd Medical Center in Marshall, Texas, has terminated the contract of CEO Ed Banos, according to a Longview News-Journal report.

The hospital named Ken Cunningham, executive vice president, as interim CEO while the board begins a search for Mr. Banos’ replacement.

Mr. Banos was not given a specific reason for his termination. Hospital officials said they wanted to “go in another direction,” according to the report.

Mr. Banos had served as CEO since 2008.
