Mr. Bennett has 17 years of leadership experience in small community healthcare organizations.
Most recently, he was COO of Waldo County Healthcare in Belfast, Maine, where he implemented an EHR system, according to Gifford. He also previously served as executive director and CFO of the Mid-Coast Mental Health Center in Rockland, Maine.
Mr. Bennett replaces Joseph Woodin, who left Gifford to become president and CEO of Oak Bluffs, Mass.-based Martha’s Vineyard Hospital.
