1. Mr. Carter served as president of Greensboro, Ga.-based St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital and vice president of operations at St. Mary’s Health Care System.
2. He has been with St. Mary’s for approximately six years, starting in October 2010.
3. In his new role, Mr. Carter will be responsible for operations and strategy initiatives at St. Mary’s Hospital.
4. St. Mary’s Health Care President and CEO Don McKenna will continue to oversee the health system, which includes hospitals in Georgia as well as St. Mary’s physician network
