General Health System CEO Bill Holman Retires

Bill Holman, 66, president and CEO of Baton Rouge, La.-based General Health System, the parent of Baton Rouge (La.) General Medical Center, has announced his retirement.

Mr. Holman has worked in healthcare for 48 years, 12 of which were spent with General Health System.

General Health System has already begun searching for Mr. Holman’s replacement. Evelyn Hayes, MD, has been named interim president and CEO and will assist in the transition period.
