Geisinger Health System Names Dr. Robert Weil Northeast Region’s Chief Medical Executive

Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger Health System has named Robert J. Weil, MD, chief medical executive for the northeast region and associate chief scientific officer of the health system, effective Nov. 11, according to a Times Leader report.

Dr. Weil previously served as president of Cleveland Clinic’s Lakewood (Ohio) Hospital.
