1. He is currently president and CEO of Western Maine Health in Norway.
2. In his new role, which he officially begins March 1, he will serve as CEO of Western Maine Health and Franklin Community Health Network until a permanent replacement for Ms. Arsenault is found. Both organizations are part of Portland-based MaineHealth.
3. Mr. Churchill has been the president and CEO of Western Maine Health and its flagship, Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway, Maine, since 1996.
4. During his tenure at Western Maine Health, The Leapfrog Group has named Stephens Memorial a top rural hospital multiple times.
5. He earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Maine, based in Orono, and a bachelor’s degree from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
