Franciscan Health taps Patrick Maloney to lead as CEO of 3 Indiana-based hospitals: 3 things to know

Mishawaka, Ind.-based Franciscan Health named Patrick Maloney president and CEO Franciscan Health Dyer (Ind.), Franciscan Health Hammond (Ind.) and Franciscan Health Munster (Ind.), effective Oct. 31.

Here are three things to know:

1. Mr. Maloney currently serves as CEO of West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, Ill., and Westlake Hospital in Melrose Park, Ill., both a part of Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare.

2. He will be taking over from interim CEO Mathew Teolis, MD.

3. Dr. Teolis will resume his full-time duties as vice president of medical affairs, his role before being named interim CEO in May.
