Here are three things to know:
1. Mr. Maloney currently serves as CEO of West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, Ill., and Westlake Hospital in Melrose Park, Ill., both a part of Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare.
2. He will be taking over from interim CEO Mathew Teolis, MD.
3. Dr. Teolis will resume his full-time duties as vice president of medical affairs, his role before being named interim CEO in May.
