Former UnitedHealthcare exec joins Dartmouth-Hitchcock as population management officer

Robert A. Greene, MD, the former senior vice president for innovation and applied analytics at UnitedHealthcare, has joined Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center as executive vice president and chief population management officer.

In his new role, Dr. Green will oversee population health initiatives and the medical center’s involvement in its accountable care organization.

“This is a critical position as we work to create a sustainable health system that will improve the lives of the people and communities we serve, for generations to come,” said Dartmouth-Hitchcock CEO and President James N. Weinstein, MD. “Rob will be a terrific leader for our team, contributing unique skills and experience that are much needed as we transition away from traditional models of care delivery and payment.”
