Phoenix-based Banner Health appointed Kevin Manemann executive vice president and chief operating and transformation officer, effective in October.
Mr. Manemann will oversee Banner Health’s operational and transformation agenda, according to a Sept. 21 health system news release. He brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience to the role.
He most recently served as executive vice president and COO at Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health, where he oversaw systemwide operations. Before joining Sutter Health in September 2025, he was executive vice president and chief operations and integration officer at Duarte, Calif.-based City of Hope.
Sutter Health appointed Christina Oh as his successor Sept. 21.
Banner Health operates 33 hospitals and more than 400 sites across six states.
