Wasif Jamal has been named vice president and CIO of WellSpan Health in York, Pa.
In this role, Mr. Jamal will oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, application product strategy and enterprise analytics for the health system, according to a June 15 news release.
Prior to this, Mr. Jamal served as global chief technology officer at Renton, Wash.-based Providence. In that role, Mr. Jamal led enterprisewide infrastructure, cloud, AI and cybersecurity initiatives.
He has also held roles at Microsoft and General Electric.
