Former Mount Sinai exec joins RWJBarnabas Health

RWJBarnabas Health has appointed Robin Ferrer, MSN, RN, chief nursing officer of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J., the health system said March 25.

Mr. Ferrer comes to RWJBarnabas from New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System, where he most recently served as vice president of emergency services, overseeing clinical operations at seven emergency departments. 

Prior to this role, Mr. Ferrer acted as director of operations and nursing for New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York City. He first joined the hospital as an ED staff nurse in 2006.
