Roderic Olvera Young has joined York, Pa.-based WellSpan Health as senior vice president and chief marketing and communications officer.
Mr. Young most recently was a senior adviser with Andersen Consulting, focused on healthcare and life sciences brand, marketing, digital and communications strategy, according to an Oct. 19 health system news release. Before that, he was vice president and chief marketing and communications officer at Boston Children’s Hospital. He has also held senior leadership roles at Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth Health and Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H.
In his new role, he will lead marketing and communications for WellSpan, which has 12 hospitals and more than 24,000 team members.
