Floyd Memorial Hospital names new CEO: 3 things to know

Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany, Ind., named Daniel J. Eichenberger, MD, CEO, according to a Louisville Business First report.

Here are three things to know about Dr. Eichenberger.

1. He had been serving as interim CEO since March, and was made the hospital’s permanent CEO in a unanimous board of trustees vote Tuesday.

2. Of the decision, Board Chairman Marc J. McCormick said, “The board has closely monitored the work of Dr. Eichenberger over the past six months, and we are seeing great results. We are confident he will continue to provide outstanding leadership and support to the executive team and the organization as a whole.”

3. Dr. Eichenberger previously served as the hospital’s CMO.
