Gina Melby has been appointed CEO of Alan B. Miller Medical Center, a 156-bed acute care hospital slated to open in spring 2026 in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Ms. Melby assumed the role April 1 and is responsible for strategic planning and business development, according to an April 3 hospital news release.
She previously served as CEO of HCA JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Fla., a position she held for 20 years. She also previously served as CEO of Northwest Medical Center in Margate, Fla.
Alan B. Miller Medical Center will offer services including orthopedic and general surgery, emergency medicine, cardiology, oncology and neurology.
The hospital is part of King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services.
